Privacy

Seintje (Het Seintje, Roerstraat 20/3, 1078 LP Amsterdam, Dutch business registration 42210344, joris.m@hotmail.nl) processes only the data needed to provide and improve your alerts.

What we store

• Your mobile number, language, selected variants, stores, notification channels and pass dates.
• Notification times, provider delivery status and link clicks. A click does not establish exactly when a notification reached your phone.
• If you enable browser push: your encrypted push subscription and confirmation of received or opened notifications.
• If you enable ntfy: a random topic code and whether you opened a notification.
• If you tell us: whether you bought an iPhone and whether Seintje helped.
• The referral link you used to reach the site.
• A Stripe payment reference. We never see your bank or card details.

Why

To perform the service you requested (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)) and improve notification delivery. We retain referral information under our legitimate interest in understanding how users find Seintje (Article 6(1)(f)).

Service providers

• Stripe processes payments and receives payment details and your email address.
• Twilio sends texts and receives your number and message content.
• Hetzner hosts our server in the EU.
• Apple, Google, Mozilla or Microsoft delivers browser push messages, depending on your device. Message content is encrypted.
• ntfy.sh processes your topic code, notification and stock link only when you enable ntfy. We do not include your number or management link.

Retention

Your number is deleted 30 days after your pass ends or stops. Unconfirmed free signups are cleared after a day. Waitlist numbers are held for up to 30 days. Stripe retains payment records as required by applicable tax rules.

Location

If you share your location to sort US stores by distance, your browser calculates the distances on your device. Seintje does not send your location to the server or save it. You can also choose stores without sharing your location.

Cookies

This site does not use cookies or trackers.

Your rights

To access, correct or delete your data, contact joris.m@hotmail.nl. You can also complain to the Dutch data protection authority or your local competent authority.

For the free launch offer, we store a keyed verification code of your phone number to prevent repeated free claims. It is an HMAC, not an additional copy of the number. Once all free passes are confirmed, the codes and key are deleted. Only the number of claims and internal pass IDs remain.
